A good parent and teacher relationship can be the difference between knowing how your child’s doing in school and knowing as he tells you he is doing.

Schools Secretary Ed. Balls says an open relationship between parents and teachers goes a long way in improving the child’s progress and behavior in class.

Parents and teachers should find ways to complement each others’ skill and knowledge.
